RESPONSIBLE ROLLIN' WITH ZARbet! /Roll with us, Responsibly

We believe that gambling should be fun, and our goal is for all our players to have a positive, entertaining experience at ZARbet.

We also know that too much of a good thing can turn bad, which is why we are committed to Responsible Gambling, and the wellbeing of our players.

Here's everything you need to know about Responsible Gambling, and how we're ready to help you.

What is Responsible Gambling?

Responsible Gambling means not letting your gameplay become something that takes over your life. It is essential to remember that gambling is a form of entertainment and should never be considered a reliable source of income. This can be tricky, but fortunately, licenced casinos are mandated to provide player protection tools to help.

Gambling responsibly means staying in control of your habit. It is a framework for you to work within to keep your gambling enjoyable while providing you with certain boundaries to safeguard your financial wellbeing.

How we're mandated to help you.

In South Africa, the National Gambling Board (NGB) sets the national policy framework for responsible gambling, and the nine Provincial Licensing Authorities (PLAs) enforce it at operator level. As a licensed casino, we must meet specific responsible gambling requirements to maintain our provincial licence.

Those in the know have consistently proven that early intervention is more effective than crisis-stage support. This is why, if you even justsuspectthat you might have a 'little problem', get in touch and we'll help you navigate it.

Player protection tools exist to help you identify potential problems, and to help you manage your habit to prevent any problems arising in future. Using these player protection tools doesn't mean that you have a gambling problem - they're aids to keep you informed about the dangers and to safeguard you against them. In fact, using these tools makes you Captain Responsible, which is pretty cool.

South Africa's legally enforced Responsible Gambling framework gives you the right to set limits, to self-exclude, and to escalate complains if an operator (us) doesn't comply to the laws. Every PLA licenced casino (us, again) is legally required to offer these player protection tools, to honour self-exclusion requests, and to offer accessible support services. Besides the fact that we're legally mandated to do this, we also happen to be very passionate about it because your enjoyment and wellbeing remains our top priority.

Self-imposed deposit limits are available to all players and can be set at any time by contacting Customer Support. As mentioned above, this will limit the amount you are able to deposit wither daily, weekly, or monthly.

This feature only applies to deposits made using Capitec Deposit, debit or credit cards, and EFT. It does not apply to deposits made using 1VOucher, Kazang Voucher (EasyPay), OTT Voucher, BluVoucher, or direct bank (cash) deposits.

Time outs and self-exclusion

At ZARbet we offer you the option to temporarily suspend or permanently close your account. If you feel that your gambling has become problematic or just feel the need to take a break, please contact our Customer Service Team via email or live chat and we'll sort you our quick-sticks.

When you choose a time out, your account can be suspended for one or seven days, or one or three months. To activate your time out, or to reactivate your account after, simply pop us an email at [email address].

When you choose a self-exclusion, you have three options. You can request atemporaryself-exclusion with your own desired timeframe. All you need to do is contact Customer Support and we will deactivate it for you. Your account will remain inactive for your specified timeframe, and once this period ends, you can contact Customer Support to have it reactivated.

You can choose to have your account suspended for aminimum of 6 months. Once the 6 months have passed, if you wish to reactivate your account, you will be required to send us a written reactivation request. Before the upliftment of this closure can be considered, ZARbet may request that you provide proof that you have received treatment and/or attended counselling, and/or to fulfil any other prior formality to ensure that your betting activity has been overcome.

You also have the option to do apermanent self-exclusion, in which case your account will be permanently closed.

Once you've chosen to self-exclude, your ZARbet account will be shut for the entirety of the selected period, and you will have no access to ay products available on the website. You will, however, still be able to withdraw funds from your account balance.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: When you choose to self-exclude, we recommend that you exclude yourself from all gaming sites you might frequent.

During any of these self-exclusion periods, we won't send you any marketing material. You'll only receive our awesome mailers and notifications again once you've reactivated your account.

If you want to make super sure that you've excluded yourself from all gambling activities, you can use the official channels for self-exclusion through the Provincial Gambling Boards. They can provide you with self-exclusion forms to complete and return via an official channel. Once received, your details will be entered into the self-exclusion register.

The responsibility is all yours when you request to be excluded from gambling activities, and you are required to comply with the terms of self-exclusion. Should you not comply, you will be denied access to your account.

Protection of minors

ZARbet prohibits individuals under the age of 18 from engaging in gambling activities on casino games or placing bets on sports.
