Limits

A self-imposed Deposit Limit feature is available for customers, this will enable a customer to limit the amount of money that a customer can deposit into their ZARbet account on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Please note that the deposit limit feature will only apply to deposits made using the following methods: Capitec Deposit, Debit or Credit Card and EFT.

The deposit limit feature will not apply to deposits made using the following methods: 1Voucher, Kazang Voucher (EasyPay), OTT Voucher, BluVoucher and Direct Bank Deposit (Cash deposit).

Self-Exclusion and Time Out Facilities

At ZARbet we offer our customers the option to temporarily suspend the usage of their betting account or to permanently close their betting account. If you feel that your gambling has become problematic or just feel the need to take a break, please contact our Customer Service Team via email or live chat.

Time Out:

Your account will be suspended for: 1 day, 7 days, 1 month or 3 months. For a Time- Out activation, we will only require an email from you. Same applies when you choose to reactivate your betting account after the Time-Out period has elapsed.

Self-Exclusion:

  • To request a temporary self-exclusion, please get in touch with ZARbet Customer Service Team and specify the desired timeframe. After the self-exclusion period ends, your account will not be reactivated automatically, you will need to contact the ZARbet Customer Service Team and request for the account to be reactivated. The account will remain inactive until the specified date in the original request.

  • Self-Exclusion: your account will be suspended for at least 6 months. After 6 months has passed, should you wish to reactivate your ZARbet account, you will need to send us a written request to reactivate your ZARbet account. Before the upliftment of a closure can be considered, the customer can be requested by ZARbet to provide proof that the customer has received treatment and/or attended counselling sessions and/or to fulfil any other prior formality in order to ensure any past problems related to the customer’s betting activity has been overcome.

  • Permanent Self-Exclusion: your account will be permanently closed. 

During the self-exclusion period, you will not receive any marketing material from us, until the period of self-exclusion is over, and you have requested to reactivate your ZARbet account.

Once you choose to self-exclude, your ZARbet account will be closed for the duration of the selected period, and you will have no access to any products that are available on the website.

You will be able to withdraw any available funds from your account balance in accordance with our withdrawal policy.

If you choose to self-exclude from ZARbet, we recommend that you also self-exclude from other gaming sites that you hold accounts with.
Official channels for self-exclusion are Provincial Gambling Boards. Each can provide you, the player, with self-exclusion forms that need to be completed by you and returned via the official channel. This will allow your details to be entered onto the self-exclusion register.

Non-compliance with self-exclusion:

The responsibility lies with the player who requested to be excluded from participating in gambling, to ensure that you comply with the terms of the self-exclusion. In the case of non-compliance you will be denied access to your account.

Protection of Minors

ZARbet prohibits individuals under the age of 18 from engaging in gambling activities on casino games or placing bets on sports.

Confirmation of your age and verification of the information will be required as part of the registration process. For optimal safety measures for minors against gambling, we advise parents to:

  • Store your account login information (User ID and password) in a secure and protected location.

  • Make sure to always sign out of your account when finished using it.

  • Educate children about the possible harms and outcomes of underage gambling.
